Hi, My dad's pavillion 15-d002tx laptop didn't come with a pre-loaded OS. The retailer had installed Windows 8. I replaced the OS with windows 7 for easier use, but I accidentally used a 32-bit version (And since, it got installed without a hiccup, I am assuming the retailer had installed a 32 bit copy of win8). Now, HP's website has drivers for this particular model for only 64 -bit versions of windows, and hence, I cannot find any 32-bit drivers for it, and am stuck with a stretched screen, among other many problems. I do have an ISO of 64-bit windows 7, but it won't install from windows, (the present OS being 32-bit).
Best kick vst. Here the problem starts. I made a bootable USB drive from the ISO file of win7 64 bit.
But when I stop startup by pressing Esc key, and choose boot from the USB drive(It even show the make and model of the usb drive), the windows from the hard disc loads, like it would usually do, as if I never made any choice for booting. I also, changed the priority orders in the BIOS settings, to no avail! Can someone help me please? Or at least give me links as to where I can download display drivers and touchpad drivers for 32-bit windows 7 for this model, so that I can get it to working condition at least. Any help will be really appreciated.
