I agree that changing terms are a big problem! I have actually started making copies of the actual text of the terms sometimes. I feel like if I received it under certain terms and conditions, then those conditions are what apply to me personally.
But I cannot 'pass them on' to anyone else once they change or anything. In fact, sometimes materials are put up with unclear terms, and later clarified, and I feel duty bound to honor the artis's intent even though the materials were released under clearly stated terms that weren't what they meant. (For example, some of the materials were created for an individual requester and therefor are only posted as examples, even though I have already downloaded the image when it was posted without limit. But really you gotta go along with it, although if I had not checked back I would never have known I suppose!) I guess we should move this to a discussion thread if we chat more about it.
